This weekend I’m trying to get the rest of my 28mm Union Iron Brigade figures from Forgotten and Glorious done. About half way there. These fellows will be mustered in as the 24th Michigan.
Terrific figures to paint, I’m a fan of F&G.
Blessings to your brushes!

I have only one F&G figure (one of the Zouaves) received as a sample. The sculpting is brilliant and take paint very easily. Looking forward to seeing your work on these Black Hats.
ReplyDeleteThey are nicely sculpted indeed. The individual faces are so distinct and the 19th century facial hair is spot on - put these guys in flannel shirts and woolen beanies and they'd pass for Brooklyn hipsters.
DeleteA good start to your hobby year.
ReplyDeleteHopefully a new Longstreet game to post up in the near future?!
Thanks Dai. Hopefully a Longstreet game, yes.
DeleteThose look lovely castings, looking forward to see how they turn out.

Thanks Stu. Perhaps I'll have them done this weekend if all goes well.
DeleteNice looking figures Padre Mike. I wasn't aware of F&G, but their figs look very nice. Fortunately they don't model in any periods of interest yet...
ReplyDeleteCheers, PD
They are nice indeed. F&G is fairly limited in their product offerings. ACW fans and fans of French history (FPW and WW1) can rejoice in them, however.
DeleteNice start dude!
ReplyDeleteCheers mate. How's your new puppy?
DeleteLooking great! :D Cheers!
