Wednesday Workbench

I was mightily distracted by the Brewers-Dodgers game (go Brewers!) but I did manage to get some horses (for cossacks and Napoleonic generals), some Foundry 28mm Pandours, and a 3d printed 6mm terrain piece into the basing depot.  Mrs P continues to mend nicely from her shoulder replacement surgery and has started physiotherapy.   Hope all's well with you.

  1. Firstly, everso happy to read your wife's procedure went well and she's on the mend. Hope her recovery is swift and as painless as can be hoped mate.

Nice to see even though you are (Most likely) busy playing "nurse", that you are still managing to find time to work on your projects!

And yes, go Brewers! No love in these parts for any of those Southern California garbage teams, especially the Dodgers.

  2. What a wonderfully eclectic table, plenty to keep you interested there. Also great news by Mrs. P's shoulder.

  3. Michael -
Great to see that your dearly beloved has negotiated the tough bit, and is now on the road to recovery. The vicissitudes of accumulating years aren't a whole bunch of fun, as a rule (though, at 75, I have little enough to complain about).

One's sense of approaching mortality - without getting all maudlin about it, you understand - does occasional lead one to wonder what will be the fate of the collection of wargamery fun that has gathered over decades. I have 4 grandchildren, all of them quite small (the eldest, Freyja turned 6 in June), one boy among them, and all domiciled in Oz. I don't reckon much of the collection will end up there!

Oh well: a bridge still down the road a ways...
    Cheers,
    Ion
